Job Description
Scottish Gymnastics has embarked on an exciting journey with a 12 year strategy that will see the growth of ‘a strong Scottish Gymnastics, inspiring and nurturing emerging talent’. Key to the success of this vision is the effectiveness of our communication strategy.

Using your communication and organisational skills, you will be responsible for managing the National Performance Programme across the gymnastics disciplines. You will work closely with the Head of Performance, and performance administrator to ensure we have in place a challenging programme of activity to support the advancement of gymnasts within the system, prepare them for BG squad selection and representative competition opportunities.

In addition to leading on the roll out of this programme and working with the National Technical Advisors, you will also have responsibility to put in place effective data management systems for athlete profiles and measuring impact of our programmes.
The successful candidate will have experience in performance sport in an operational / management position, having also had involvement in athlete service support either from a delivery / operational management experience. The role requires candidates to be able to provide direction, to influence and be able to develop strong, effective working relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

Candidates will require excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills along with the ability to work on their own initiative, is pro-active and able to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines. Candidates will need knowledge of Microsoft Office products and significant experience with using, developing and maximising social media platforms and strategies.
