We are a Co-operative Trust School for girls with 800 pupils aged 11 to 18 with a mixed sixth form. We value pupil progress and success equally alongside personal development.
The current Principal took the school from ‘Inadequate’ to a ‘Good’ rating within the first fourteen months of his appointment in 2011, with an exceptional rate of improvement. Following his promotion to Her Majesty’s Inspectorate, we wish to appoint a new Principal with similar vision and drive to continue our journey to become an outstanding school. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to lead a school where staff and students are proud of their success.
The school has embraced co-operative values, has an overall goal of being the School of Choice for girls in Dartford and is oversubscribed for September 2015.
The successful candidate will be:
A strong and inspirational leader with high expectations, committed to raising standards at every level.
A skilled manager, able to lead and motivate a dedicated, hard-working and talented staff.
A successful teacher with senior leadership experience across the age and ability ranges.
An excellent communicator and collaborator, committed to working in partnership with governors, staff, parents, the local authority and the co-operative trust.
Committed to on-going professional development.
We can offer you:
An excellent environment in which to develop professionally.
The support of a dedicated and experienced leadership team and staff.
A community that is supportive and ambitious.
Excellent CPD opportunities.
A modern school with excellent facilities and transport links.
