Job Description
It is a very exciting time to be part of our great game and Basketball England as we work through major reforms to modernise our organisation and it services, and develop the game. We are also promoting a new campaign to engage more women and girls in basketball alongside our Road to Tokyo with our amazing GB Womens team.
In response to our member feedback we have levered additional resources to address some of the priorities that have been identified for basketball growth and support in the grass roots game. This resource will help us allocate more support to important local and regional developments including women and girls basketball, schools basketball (Slam Jam), local leagues and clubs. We are introducing three new roles in response to the demand to grow and support the game locally

As the National Governing Body for basketball in England, we are responsible for ensuring the very highest standards in the sport for our members. We take the issue of safeguarding children and adults at risk very seriously and have detailed policies and procedures in place in this regard.
We have a great opportunity for a Project Delivery Officer to join our team. Responsible for the day-to-day management of our exciting new programme for 7 to 11 year olds, Slam Jam, the successful candidate will manage the relationships with delivery partners, suppliers and internal relationships to help us achieve our ambitious targets. Additionally, you will support with the administration of a number of other key participation related projects within the Delivery Department to help us achieve our growth targets. We are looking for an outstanding candidate who can deliver a high standard of project management alongside creativity, offering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an ability for understanding and designing processes, have good attention to detail and be able to multi-task across different areas. Experience of strong partnership working will be a benefit.
