As the demand for our projects increases, we are looking for a project manager who can help us streamline projects and drive future opportunities as we continue to scale.
Responsibilities:
making sure projects run on schedule and achieve client objectives regarding scope, quality, timing and budget – to the highest standard
managing overarching project delivery timelines
thinking long term – identify risks and providing solutions
managing substantial project budgets and resources
ensuring clients are proactively informed and know the status of projects at all times
providing progress reports to directors regarding project status
develop and build positive relationships with clients and sub-contractors
develop, enhance and deliver a project brief document that will be used to spell out to all parties, the requirements of the project, duties and the ultimate expected outcome
be a leader in using project management systems to keep track of people and processes for projects
Day-to-day project management responsibilities:
manage the entire lifecycle: inception to follow up. This includes creating all work orders, managing the internal and external individuals working on the projects, acting as an ongoing account manager to clients and conducting onsite visits on an as-needed basis
stay abreast of relevant industry news, related events, publications, and announcements
use market intelligence to proactively seek out new opportunities to stimulate new business
actively participate at industry events outside of standard business hours

Specific qualifications involve:
accredited professional or graduate degree in architecture with at least five to ten years professional experience
professional registration preferable
working knowledge of design software
experience in coordinating and assembling detailed and well thought drawing packages from conceptual through design development stages
skilled at multitasking and working towards multiple deadlines
competence in working with a fast-paced, collaborative design environment
ability to handle drawing coordination with multiple design disciplines to complete drawing packages
adept at client communication and management
leadership to manage design team and meet all project deliverable deadlines
expect some international travelling
Qualifications/experience:
at least five years’ project management experience within high end residential construction
experience in managing communications, cost, staff, change, scope, and risk associated with project assignments
must be highly motivated and organised
must have a track record of on time delivery and be able to independently manage shifting priorities and to multi-task
proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Keynote
must have the ability to quickly adapt to systems in use at virtualisation management for customer relationship management and communications
