Job Description
This post offers a 9 month contract at a pro-rata annual rate of £17,842 combining real job working with the learning opportunities of an internship. It is based in London (Shoreditch).
Working in a small team this post will support the Chief Executive and Programme & Operations Director in dealing with (i) research and other support for policy intelligence and lobbying/influencing activities; (ii) the implementation of projects providing services to members of sporta, (iii) network support and some other functions of the management, (iv) ongoing evaluation of the Make Your Move programme, and administration of sporta.
This role will provide the post-holder with a good view of all aspects of the work a small national ‘trade’ association representing a significant group of charitable social enterprises which make a major contribution to several public policy objectives.
The post will make a substantial contribution to a wide range of the work outlined in the Job Description – assisting the Chief Executive and Programme & Operations Director in leading members and taking the leading on some projects or aspects of projects. The work will be both on planned projects and in responding to ‘demand led’ business occurring day-to-day.
