About the role
This is an entry level Account Management role, ideal for a Journalism, Media or Advertising graduate looking to get their first role in media/tech/advertising or someone with one year’s account management experience within the industry, who will be fully trained up in every aspect of the job, specifically in Ad Operations & Technical (Player) Operations. The role is client facing, supporting both existing publisher clients as well as supporting the sales team in sourcing new publisher clients across the company’s solutions portfolio.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, successful & growing international digital media company, to play a direct role in developing the UK business at a relative start-up stage and to become an expert in Ad Ops and Video Player Technology working with many of the UK’s leading premium online publishers.
Summary of main job functions
Day-to-day management of UK publisher client needs across the 3 main areas of the business:
video player: implementation on new sites, set up, maintenance & troubleshooting
video content: editorial moderation, managing Rights Holders & content feeds
advertising operations (AdOps): ad tag set up, performance analysis & optimisation
Monthly reporting & quarterly business reviews
Support for sales teams sourcing new publisher clients: market research, lead generation & player mockup creation
Supporting the UK Country Manager & UK Head of Operations as required
Minimum requirements
Native UK / English language
Bachelor’s degree in relevant area, for example, Media, Technology, IT, Advertising
Knowledge/interest in Online Media, Technology & advertising
Experience of using source code editing software such as Notepad ++ a plus
Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML is a big plus!
Familiarity with video players and video platforms would be useful
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail
Ability to work flexibly, remotely & independently within a fast-paced start-up environment
Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills with the ability to multi-task
