PageTiger is seeking a Publishing Director to head up our creative team and work across our online and print portfolio of magazines and brochures.
The Role:
The Publishing Director will lead a small team of editorial and design staff and work on key accounts. We have a wide range of publishing projects going through the studio, ranging from editing existing publications to make them suitable for the web, to creating new magazines from scratch. The majority of our work is online, but we also have a few print publications from our former business as a traditional contract publishing company.
This is a hands-on client-facing role and it will be your input that drives projects forward ensuring a premium level of service and client satisfaction. You will be responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered on deadline and to the highest quality. It is a busy environment with multiple projects going through the studio at any one time. You will be working across key accounts, so there will be editorial requirements for this role including top-level writing and editing skills. You will be overseeing all projects as they go through the design studio so will need to demonstrate a high level of creative vision.
A thorough understanding and appreciation of the online environment is crucial. You will become an expert on the PageTiger publishing system and deliver clients maximum impact from the online environment.
As a key player in a small company, you will have input on strategic decisions at Director level. We are looking for someone who can take full ownership of the role and have the confidence to drive the creative team forward. You will report directly to the board of Directors. This is a position that could quickly grow in responsibility and remuneration for the right person.

About Us:
PageTiger is an online publishing system that allows users to upload magazines and brochures to the web, generating an interactive reading experience. Users may either upload their publications themselves or ask the Creative Team to develop a unique publication specifically designed for the PageTiger system.
We are experiencing a growth spurt with a rapidly expanding base of corporate clients and this is an exciting and challenging time to join the team.

PageTiger has a growing client list of both SME and blue chip clients. Some of our current clients include: Visa, Lloyds, Halifax, Net a Porter, Legoland, The Dorchester, Galliford Try, Standard Life, CIPD, McArthur Glen, Royal Mail.
Essential Requirements:
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
Good degree
Highly IT literate
Excellent communicator with client handling skills
Proven management experience
Contract publishing experience
Keen interest in online publishing
Looking to take ownership of the role
