Regional Director – Scottish Rugby

We are looking for a Regional Director to lead the Caledonia North team within our Rugby Development department. As a team, you will deliver regional solutions for regional issues. Challenges such as:
-increasing and retaining player numbers – both men and women/girls rugby, establishing clear player pathways
-supporting the people to develop the game of rugby – refereeing, coaches, club volunteers
-developing a quality rugby experience for all, from mini rugby to walking rugby
-delivering collaborative and innovative solutions to govern a safe rugby environment.
To do this, you’ll balance your time planning at a strategic and operational level, collaborating with stakeholders, driving our agenda for and inclusive and diverse game as well as developing your team to deliver the national projects you have responsibility for.

What do you need? To succeed in this role, you’ll need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You’ll be working with a wide range of stakeholders: Club Presidents, Local Authorities, Schools and other educational institutions, sportscotland, and an even wider range of people across Scottish Rugby. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate experience of managing and leading a team.
