Regional Project Manager – Advantage Mentoring – London

Job Description
About Advantage Mentoring
Advantage Mentoring is a unique partnership between two ‘community assets’ and ‘anchor institutions’ – the charitable arms of Premier League and English Football League clubs; known as Club Community Organisations (CCOs), and their local NHS Trusts.
The programme has been designed by senior NHS strategists and club staff to increase access to NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and help tackle Health Inequalities by providing weekly mental health and emotional wellbeing mentoring support for young people aged 14-21. The programme provides key interventions and assistance for young people to proactively manage their mental wellbeing, re-establish aspirations and a sense of connection. It supports the ‘Getting support’ part of the NHS Thrive Framework and builds capacity without taking away from NHS staff time to achieve access targets.
Advantage was established by West Ham in 2020, before expanding to Arsenal, Leyton Orient, Crystal Palace, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Leicester City, Liverpool, Southampton, West Brom and Wolves and is in a very exciting time of on-boarding multiple new clubs.
