Job Description
Can you develop and retain the best young sailors in your region?
If you have significant coaching experience and believe you know what it takes to develop and retain the best junior regional sailors, this could be a role for you.

We are looking to appoint coaching teams for all six English regions in the British Youth Sailing (BYS) Recognised Classes of Toppers, Optimist, RS Feva and Bic Techno (windsurfer). We are looking for Regional Lead Coaches and also Regional Coaches. The exact composition of the coaching team may vary but we would expect each team to consist of a person to lead, plan and organise training of the group and a coach to take on additional responsibility of the class lead on specific class coaching development and innovation.
The right coaches will have aligned views with the BYS Values and Behaviours. With regards to sailor development they will be able to evidence that they can create a safe and enjoyable environment while ensuring each sailor is given appropriate challenges to maximise their development.
