Job Description
It is an exciting time to join Basketball England as we continue to deliver our ambitious 6-year strategic plan we call ‘Growing Basketball Together’. As the National Governing Body for basketball in England, we are responsible for ensuring the very highest standards in the sport for our members. We take the issue of safeguarding children and adults at risk very seriously and have detailed policies and procedures in place in this regard.
We have a great opportunity for a Relationship & Co-Ordination Manager (covering London, the South East and the Southern Regions) to join our team, delivering a series of exciting participation programmes to retain and grow the number of people playing basketball in England. We are looking for an outstanding candidate who can deliver a high standard of project management alongside creativity, offering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an ability to be a self-starter, be able to manage multiple projects at the same time and to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with both the basketball community and external partners in their regions and beyond.
