Legalease is the publisher of The Legal 500 Series, the market-leading research guide with a long and established track record for analysing, ranking and providing detailed editorial on the world’s leading business law firms. The Legal 500 prides itself on the quality and depth of its research, as well as on the integrity of its research team.
The Legal 500 is expanding its research of the challenges that face lawyers based within business legal teams, and has a vacancy for a bright, hard-working and tenacious researcher to work on a core product, The Client Intelligence Report. For an insight into the content of our products, please see www.legal500.com.
The majority of this role will be spent talking on the telephone to international lawyers. This means that applicants must have an excellent command of spoken English, and have an ability to engage with people quickly on the phone. As the report will research a global audience, working hours may adapt to international time-zone specific work.
Knowledge of the legal sector is preferable but not essential. Additional language abilities are also an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to develop their research skills in a challenging and vibrant environment. You will be part of a successful, ambitious and growing organization. Although part of a close-knit team, you will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy. This is an entry level opportunity into research.
Key responsibilities:
To gather details of in-house lawyers’ current work, through interviews, mainly on the telephone.
To obtain information about challenges and solutions that in-house lawyers face, and what that means for external law firms, through telephone interview.
