Research & Insight Project Officer – Youth Sport Trust

As Research & Insight Project Officer you will help deliver high-quality monitoring, evaluation, research, analysis and insight services for the charity and external clients. We will look to you to provide support and co-ordination for desk-based and primary research projects and activities. This will involve you helping the team in the planning, set-up, implementation, day to day project management, analysis, synthesis of findings as well as the delivery and dissemination of results to stakeholders. You will also liaise and collaborate with colleagues, external research agencies and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget and assist in the collection, data entry, collation of project data.

You must have knowledge of research techniques and methodologies and proven experience of project management and support. We need someone with strong communication skills and an ability to work with and influence a range of audiences and stakeholders. Able to source data on the internet and in professional publications you will be comfortable utilising management information systems and databases Good knowledge of the principles of effective questionnaire design and creation as well as an understanding of research ethics and data protection will be needed too.
