Job Description
For an April 2020 start, College is looking to appoint a Resident Sports Professional to be responsible for the coaching of pupils in sport throughout the Senior School and The Prep and, additionally, taking on the duties of a Resident Tutor in a girls’ boarding house.
Experience of coaching netball and hockey would be advantageous and the post-holder should be capable of developing the athletic and sporting capabilities of pupils within College’s Talented Athlete Programme.
Under the line management of the Director of Sport, the Sports Professional will also assist in the management of key areas of the busy sports programme, gaining valuable experience in administration, marketing and communications. There may be opportunities for sports professionals to assist in Sport Science lessons and it is encouraged that all sports professionals actively seek to develop their coaching.
Salary/Package:
• The post-holder will be provided with a one-bedroom flat inclusive of all utilities apart from Council Tax. More details can be found in the job description.
• A salary in the region of £16,000 – 17,000 – (based on 0.7 FTE – Term-Time only and commensurate with experience)
• An Extra Responsibility Allowance (ERA) between £1,050 – 1,500 to be paid for being a Support or Resident Tutor in a girls’ boarding house.
• All meals can be taken during College’s term time.
