Job Description
England Hockey is recruiting for a Resource Officer who will be responsible for the implementation and execution of training and education resources and products that will cater for the needs of coaches, officials and other key groups operating in both participation and talent. This role reports to the Workforce Training and Development Manager.
The post holder will demonstrate a strong understanding and application of information technology developments and be skilled in editing video.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Using content provided by functional ‘experts’, design, produce and maintain a suite of officiating and coaching resources and products in a wide variety of relevant formats and mediums
2. Manage and regularly update the content on the England Hockey on-line learning platform
3. Develop resources and products that are commercially viable and where appropriate generate revenue to contribute to England Hockey’s commercial objectives.
4. Develop subject matter knowledge through participation in relevant networks and completion of relevant CPD.
5. Produce succinct, relevant and agreed reports on progress against all objectives agreed with the Workforce Training and Development Manager.
6. Actively collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the delivery of strategic and operational plans.
7. Undertake such other duties as may be required from time to time that are consistent with the responsibilities of the post and the needs of England Hockey.
