Safeguarding & Disciplinary Case Officer – British Canoeing

Job Description
Location: Based at National Watersports Centre, Nottingham
Hours: Full time, 37 Hours per week.
Salary: Band 3 £21,845 – £31,456
British Canoeing is the United Kingdom’s Governing Body for the sport and recreation of canoeing and kayaking. This is an exciting time to join British Canoeing, as we are making progress in delivering Stronger Together – an exciting and ambitious strategy for Paddlesport in the UK (2017–2021).
This is a key role within our Governance team and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a level of knowledge, experience and skills in the areas of safeguarding, disputes and disciplinary matters. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of disclosure requirements and experience of case management procedures, combined with outstanding communication and organisational skills and the ability to take individual responsibility for cases to completion.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team and be able to provide solutions whilst remaining impartial and objective is essential as is experience of handling confidential and sensitive information.
