Luum is a London-based contemporary lighting studio, dedicated to the design, manufacture, delivery and commissioning of spectacular light installations for interiors around the world.

Our process is defined by a thoughtful and considered approach; It is sensitive to the relationship between architecture and light with a focus on delivering dynamic and impactful lighting design. Luum work in a variety of ways for a wide range of design conscious clients, from designers and specifiers to private individuals. We cover a range of sectors including hospitality, commercial, public and residential spaces.

As an ambitious new brand we have an opportunity for a commercially driven sales specialist (preferably with a design background) to play a cornerstone role in the companies growth.

The position calls for a capable and motivated individual to develop and implement a sales strategy alongside a high calibre design team and to also play a very significant role in the development of the company as a whole.

You will be capable of working independently and also be results orientated. Using the resources of the design and project delivery teams the role will involve management and delivery of the full sales effort including developing and converting enquiries into sales, expanding our client base and establishing strong and lasting client relationships with a focus on outperforming our clients expectations.

The role:

develop excellent client relations with new and existing customers
manage the sales process from enquiry through to installation
identify and understand customer requirements and potential projects
achieve sales targets monthly/annually
manage correspondence between the design team and clients
work with the director to develop a marketing and sales strategy
arrange payments, invoicing and nuts and bolts of sales
keep customers informed about news and products
develop the use of social media to drive sales
develop and promote the Luum brand

Skills:

have a proven ability to perform and exceed targets
demonstrate good understanding of the design market
be well organised with excellent attention to detail
have the potential and ambition to grow with the company
be well presented, collaborative, energetic and enthusiastic
be outgoing with a natural ability to network
have at least three – five years experience in sales role in the design industry
have an ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
