We are looking to recruit a team of enthusiastic, passionate, reliable and engaging sessional coaches to support our ambition to use sport to positively impact the lives of those typically underrepresented within our communities.

Sessional Schools Coach (Foundation)

Salary:
£20 per session
£25 per session (out-of-hours i.e. evenings, weekends and school holidays)
Reporting to: Foundation Inclusion Manager
Responsible for: The delivery of high quality, accessible and engaging sports sessions in line with the aims and outcomes associated with the Foundation’s schools’ programs.
Onboarding process: The Harlequins Foundation uses a three-step onboarding process to recruit all sessional coaches; an initial informal phone-call, an invitation to deliver a taster session followed by a formal interview.

Qualifications (Essential):
– England Rugby Coaching Award (Level 2)
– Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (RFU processed within previous 3 years)
– Emergency First Aid at Work
– Safeguarding & Protection of Young People

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience (Desirable):
– England Rugby Coaching Award (Level 3)
– Premiership Rugby Minimum Standards; Working in Community Sport (or ability to work towards), Working with Children and Young People
– Experience working in an education setting including Primary, Secondary and/ or specialist schools
– Experience of delivering engaging and inclusive sports sessions to disengaged children and young people from underrepresented community groups.
