Senior Bid Manager – CGI , England

Working within CGI’s North focused Business Unit you will join a team of dedicated bid managers that cover a market that includes clients within a number of different sectors. As a Bid Manager at CGI you’ll help shape the UK’s digital revolution, and take responsibility for some of the world’s most ambitious transformation projects. From public service systems to cutting-edge commercial projects, our work has a wide reach, helping make the everyday easier, for everyone.
This role can be based anywhere in the UK, though flexibility with travel as required will be essential. With a hybrid working environment, you’ll have the ability to work from home/remotely as well as onsite.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Senior Bid Manager will be expected to manage complex medium to large scale bids, managing multiple bids simultaneously. You will build bid teams and lead the team through the bid planning, development and internal review processes. In partnership with our Account Directors you will be responsible for delivering winning bids within budget, in accordance with the agreed strategy and requirements.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
The ideal Senior Bid Manager for this role will have a proven track record of bid management for IT infrastructure, managed service and integrated systems projects. Ideally you will have had experience of working within a large IT consultancy. You must have a passion and drive for pre-sales and bid management, with the gravitas and persuasion skills to influence different stakeholders at all levels and seniority up to UK CEO/CFO level. You’ll also have proven experience of running medium to large scale bids, ranging from £500k to tens of millions.
