Based at Adams Park, the home of Wycombe Wanderers FC, this is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team that are dedicated to engaging with as many people as possible in and around High Wycombe and the surrounding area, with the aim of improving levels of health, social inclusion, community cohesion, education, and sports participation.
The Senior Delivery Officer – Premier League Kicks will be responsible for the high quality planning and delivery of WWSET’s Premier League Kicks programme, as well as reporting against the outcomes and impact the sessions achieve. WWSET’s Kicks offering is made up of two football sessions and one boxing session (led a professional boxing coach with the post-holder playing a supporting role)
Premier League Kicks is one of the Premier League’s flagship community programmes and is delivered in some of the most high need areas nationwide. By engaging young people aged 8 -25 years old in
constructive activities the programme seeks to:
• Increase playing, coaching and officiating opportunities in football and a range of sports;
• Enhance physical and mental well-being including self-esteem, ambition and social skills;
• Strengthen communities by promoting and facilitating a culture of volunteering & social action;
• Support education, training and employment pathways;
• Work in partnership with young people, the police and other stakeholders to support the younger generation with the societal challenges they face (eg youth violence) and to improve community safety;
• Inspire young people to develop positive, supportive relationships with one another and the authorities;
• Promote integration and champion equality, diversity and inclusion.

Role Accountabilities & Key Duties
1 Plan & deliver high quality sessions in accordance with the Premier League Kicks model
2 Provide dedicated personal support to those who attend the Premier League Kicks sessions in order to allow them to reach their full potential.
3 Maintain registers and other records at all times to demonstrate participation levels and impact
4 Liaise regularly with relevant other WWSET staff regarding session success and considerations to improve session quality
5 Recognition that challenging behaviours may be faced, and an ability to deal and report on such behaviour in a professional manner
6 Identify, develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders/external organisations in order to add value to WWSET’s Premier League Kicks programme
7 Increase the awareness and popularity of WWSET’s Premier League Kicks programme via effective publicity and promotion
8 Devise activities that ensure individuals and groups of participants are motivated, stretched and challenged at appropriate levels across all WWSET’s Premier League Kicks activities.
9 Ensure compliance with all relevant WWSET policies at all times
10 Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements at all times
11 Maintain a professional image and act as an ambassador for WWSET & WWFC at all times
12 Keep confidential any information gained regarding the Charity, Club and its personnel
13 Maintain a flexible approach to work at all times and undertake other duties as required by WWSET
14 Ensure appropriate risk assessments and health & safety procedures are in place across sessions
15 Maximise the frequency and impact of player appearances at WWSET’s Premier League Kicks activities
16 Ensure appropriate exit routes are offered to all participants being engaged on the WWSET Premier League Kicks programme
17 Attend training courses and continuing professional development sessions as and when required
