Salary: £50 per training night, £80 per match day

Job description:
Esher rugby club are looking to recruit a physiotherapist to join the medical team for the upcoming season (2020/21). It is anticipated that you will be working two days a week, one week night training session and a Saturday match.
Summary of Duties
• To provide a professional physiotherapy service to players which will include the assessment of injury and the formulation of appropriate management plans.
• To provide pitch side cover during training and matches. Including the provision of physiotherapy and emergency aid as required.
• To maintain appropriate medical and physiotherapy records in keeping with Club, CSP and HCPC requirements.
• To remain up-to-date with advances in the fields of physiotherapy and sports medicine through regular CPD activities.
• To ensure all medical supplies and equipment are fully stocked, replenished and secured as required.
• To assist with any other reasonable duties as directed by management staff.
Essential:
• BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• Full membership to the Charted Society of Physiotherapy
• Health and Care Professions Council Registered.
• Pitch side trauma qualification (i.e Lubas pitch side trauma management)
• Extensive clinical assessment and treatment skills and a sound understanding of the rehabilitation and reconditioning process.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to liaise with players, coaches, management, medical staff and such individuals in a personable and professional manner.
• Be able to adapt to different, changing and challenging situations.
Desirable:
• Wound management and suturing qualification
