Job Description
Key tasks and responsibilities
1. Coordinate and lead the implementation of the Premier League Primary Stars (PLPS) programme.
2. Develop, plan and deliver the PE strand of the PLPS programme.
3. Provide classroom based 1:1 and group support for pupils.
4. Be a positive role model, engage and inspire 5-11 years year olds within the PLPS programme.
5. Enhance teachers’ knowledge, skills and confidence to improve PE and school sport.
6. Support the Premier League Projects Manager in achieving set performance objectives, including recruitment of new school delivery partners.
7. Ensure that all PLPS delivery is structured and high quality, following the appropriate schemes of work and linking into the National Curriculum and National Governing Body frameworks.
8. Support the development of staff and lead in-house training programmes.
9. Monitor and evaluate the PLPS programme ensuring that all data is up to date and accurate on Views .
10. Ensure that the PLPS programme is fully compliant with the latest safeguarding, health and safety and data protection legislation.
11. Attend meetings and represent Nottingham Forest Community Trust at events.
12. Develop and maintain effective positive working relationships with schools and partner organisations.
Skills, knowledge & experience – Essential
1. Association for Physical Education (AfPE) Level 3.
2. Multiskills Level 2.
3. Understanding of Premier League reporting systems.
4. Extensive experience of delivering Premier League Primary Stars.
5. Ability to develop partnerships, programmes and business opportunities.
6. Experience of implementing robust monitoring and evaluation systems and measuring outcomes.
7. Understanding the National Curriculum & HE frameworks.
8. Ability to follow direction and work in a focussed and outcome driven environment.
9. Ability to work to set Key Performance Objectives.
10. Excellent communications, interpersonal and organisational skills.
11. Demonstrable knowledge of IT applications and information databases including Outlook, Word, excel, PowerPoint.
12. Recent relevant DBS check or willingness to undertake one.
Skills, knowledge & experience – Desirable
1. FA Level 2 Coaching Certificate.
2. Graduate or graduate calibre.
