Our London showroom, launched in April 2014, has generated strong interest among the architect and design community. To continue the growth trajectory we are seeking a strong sales consultant to aggressively target new business/clients and execute a client marketing plan targeting the residential market in UK. Purpose:
The sales consultant is accountable for exceeding established revenue generation goals and ensuring his/her book of business is profitable. This individual is the trusted resource to the client, recommending solutions while providing the highest level of service, integrity and professionalism. The sales consultant builds collaborative relationships with clients to continuously increase the amount of business received from them and to provide the excellent experience and service they have come to expect of the Waterworks Brand.
Key interactions:
showroom staff
external clients (inclusive of architect and design community, home owners, contractors, spec builders and plumbers)
client services, technical service and other support partners
Key accountabilities:
cultivate relationships within the local architect and design community
provide exemplary service to enhance long-term relationships with current clients and actively identify and secure new clients
increase the spend by client to create more loyal client base
partner with others in the showroom to implement innovative ways to market and sell Waterworks products
drive overall results through sales pipeline management
market to clients 50% of the time outside of the showroom and schedule appointments accordingly
set marketing strategies by client. Set appropriate revenue goal by account and be accountable for results
attend industry events to build and maintain business relationships
communicate business strategies and outlook with appropriate business forecasting as required
quantify return on investment with time spent outside of the showroom making client calls and networking
maintain and build upon operational processes to uphold Waterworks brand and to ensure client needs are met
manage projects, tracking procurement and budget expenditures as projects move through planning, design and production
work directly with support partners to resolve client issues in a timely manner and respond in a timely manner
model the Waterworks values within the showroom
mentor sales associates and project coordinators to develop confidence in their selling and marketing capabilities
other accountabilities as assigned
Preferred experience/skills:
previous inside/outside sales experience in a high-end luxury brand environment
interior design experience/exposure
knowledge of plumbing and/or tile and hard surfaces preferred
ability to understand and drive results for the overall business
service driven approach
proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas
exceptional communication and listening skills, with the ability to find connections between company’s products and client’s needs and to provide alternative solutions
ability to negotiate and close deals
strong persuasion skills and the ability to influence others
exceptional time management skills
ability to work autonomously
exposure to CRM (Client Relationship Management) software
proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
