Showroom Manager – Boss Design Group – London, United Kingdom

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated showroom manager to join our London team.

We are a high end British furniture manufacturer and specialise in corporate and hospitality furniture.

Based in the busy hub that is Clerkenwell we have many clients and new enquiries through the door on a daily basis.

Ideally we require someone with previous showroom experience and an interest in interior design and furniture.

Flexibility with this role is important, on occasion you will be required to work late during busy periods, such as Clerkenwell design week and other events held in the showroom throughout the year.

Requirements:

confident person who is a team player
organised and able to juggle multiple tasks, prioritising urgent or important enquiries
upkeep of the showroom through delegation to showroom assistant, ensuring showroom is always fully stocked on, drinks and refreshments ordering, stationary, fabric cards, literature and sample finishes and catering
manage all facilities including fire and intruder alarms, air-conditioning maintenance, general building maintenance
ability to approach new clients and talk confidently about our products
manage logistics of samples and new products to come in from our factory on weekly basis
good IT skills are necessary as you will be required to email, manage the diary, help with general admin using Excel and our CRM system
taking telephone calls from general public, clients, press – a good phone manner is essential. Directing these calls to the right people and resolving general enquiries yourself which will often involve liaising with design, procurement or factory
client visits or showroom tours when account managers are not available to
work with head of events to organise small events throughout the year and Clerkenwell design week
