Job Description
On the Ball Sports Coaching are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and enthusiastic individual to manage one of our school holiday sports camps based in North London.
Duties and responsibilities
• Directly manage a team of staff, to ensure they deliver both the quality of care and the standard of activities expected at On the Ball Sports Camps.
• Lead and deliver high quality and engaging activity sessions to children aged between 5 – 12 years old.
• Show the required energy, enthusiasm and professionalism for the duration of the camp, acting as an ambassador for On the Ball Sports Camps and behaving as a suitable role model for children.
• Inspire your staff to deliver quality activities by leading by example with energy, fun and enthusiasm.
• Ensure all policies and procedures on camp are adhered to by yourself, your staff and the children in your care, including all health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
• Implement procedures to ensure the camp is a safe environment for staff and children.
• Continuously promote the welfare of the children in your care.
• Ensure Ofsted requirements are met at all times on camp.
• Liaising with company owner on a daily basis.
• Point of contact for parents in person including feeding back any issues arising on camp.
• Manage all administrative duties on camp, including sign-in and sign-out procedures, registration, staff rotas etc.
• Manage any other challenges that come with running the camp.
Experience and qualifications
Minimum 3 years experience of working in a primary school / sports coaching setting
Minimum level 2 sports coaching certificate
Minimum 2 years of experience of leading and managing a team
Valid DBS certificate
