Sports Administrator – Hurlingham Polo Association – Oxfordshire

Job Description
Horizon Leisure Trust is a charity that runs two large multi-activity community leisure centres in Havant and Waterlooville, historically attracting over 1.3M visits a year.
We are dedicated to providing a range of accessible and affordable sports, fitness, and leisure facilities that contribute to the health and well being of the community we are proud to serve.
Horizon has embarked on an exciting period of strategic transformation and growth, providing new and improved facilities and a greater range of attractive activities for our customers.

We are seeking to recruit new Trustees to join the Board of Management and contribute to our successful journey. Specifically, we are looking for candidates with experience in the following areas:
• hospitality/retail;
• customer engagement;
• medical/health, and
• marketing/communications.
This is an exciting and very rewarding opportunity for individuals to contribute to a vibrant, community-focused organisation. We are looking for people who are passionate about our values and mission, and who, through their experience and skills, can actively contribute to the governance and future direction of Horizon.
The time commitment involves attendance at Board meetings that are typically held once a month, currently on a Thursday morning. There may also be opportunities, where Trustees have the time, to contribute in other ways dependent on background and experience.
