18.5 hours per week
Based in Hereford and Holme Lacy

We are looking for someone to co-ordinate and develop College based enrichment activities related to participation in sport. You will be responsible for the organising of inter and intra college competition, the positioning and development of the gifted and talented provision within the overall player pathway and the establishing of links with clubs and other sports providers in the wider community.

You will develop links with local sports departments, local sports clubs, local colleges and with other local providers to increase participation in competition, leadership, volunteering, recreational sport and physical activity. You will be required to support and develop where necessary an effective sport development plan..

The successful candidate will have experience engaging with and supporting young people; possess an understanding of key national agendas, and have gained a degree, or equivalent qualification, in a relevant subject. The ability to travel independently throughout Herefordshire is also required.
