At the EIS we think of ourselves as the team behind the team and deliver a range of performance impacting sport science and sport medicine services to over 40 Olympic and Paralympic sports along with a select number of non-Olympic sports, including Premier League Football, Premiership Rugby Union, Rugby League and Cricket.
The services we provide aim to deliver performance improvements and are guided by the technical programme needs of Performance Directors, coaches and athletes. The mix of practitioners we select to work with a sport is based on delivering the precise blend of skills and expertise to meet these requirements and contribute to performance improvements.
SPORTS SERVICES MANAGER
Base: Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre
Salary: £30,910 – £41,213 p.a.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Your role:
This role supports the Performance Solutions team by working closely with National Governing Bodies (NGBs) of sports to facilitate, agree and ensure delivery of support programmes through the EIS across all sites. This role is part of the Operations team which strives to create a world leading training and support environment that significantly impacts on the preparation of athletes and coaches and makes a key contribution to GB’s medal performances.
You should have:
. A qualification at degree level or relevant experience within a high performance sports environment.
. Significant experience working in a high performance sports environment with athletes and coaches, to improve performance.
. Ability to a analyse a range of sports in relation to their support service needs.
