This has seen us develop into one of the south of England’s most well respected specialists in running gear and footwear fitting. Being a Family owned and run business has helped us maintain our core values offering the customer great value purchases and service that is second to none.
Predominantly a running specialist, Alton Sports also caters essentials for a multitude of sports including athletics, tennis, football, rugby, and swimming. All stores offer in-store gait analysis ensuring all customers purchase the correct shoes. Stocking a vast range of brands from Adidas, Asics, Brooks, Mizuno, On Running, PowerBar, Salomon, Suunto and more, product knowledge is essential. All candidates must be passionate about sports and running and eager to learn.
We are looking for a confident, knowledgeable and hard-working individual with sports retail experience (running industry preferable) to undertake a full-time role managing our largest retail store in Farnham. The role will consist of:
– Overseeing up to 10 members of staff
– Driving sales in a high performance store
– Working alongside your management team to meet and exceed KPIs
– Build strong relationships with local businesses, run clubs and the community
– Cash management
– Stock management
– Co-managing the store’s Run Club
– Above all, delivering and maintaining the high level of customer service our business has grown upon
