We are looking to recruit a recent graduate to join our small architectural and interior design business based in Victoria. We are a creative team of specialist designers and contractors focusing on high specification residential refurbishment and fit-out projects.
We are seeking a friendly, professional and organised individual with the following skills and experience:
a minimum of two years administrative experience
strong IT skills – Microsoft Office is essential
excellent communication and numeracy skills
attention to accuracy and a proactive approach
a degree although this is not essential
a background in finance or marketing would be beneficial
Duties will include the following:
coordinating the printing, filing and issuing of project drawings and assisting the design team with samples and libraries as may be required
managing office and IT supplies, deliveries, storage and the general appearance of the premises
answering calls, assisting with general PA duties, minute taking and travel arrangements
attending meetings and coordinating minor works with suppliers and contractors on project sites as advised or directed
assisting with ad-hoc financial tasks and support with marketing, including PR and the updating of a new website
Further tasks may be assigned depending on programmed works and the experience and background of the candidate. This is an entry level administrative position, but we hope the newly recruited individual will soon grow to become an integral part of our team.
Salary will be dependent on skills and experience. This is a full-time position, from 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday, at the head office located in Victoria.
