The Hastings Academy seek to appoint an inspirational, innovative and dynamic leader to join a highly committed leadership team who are determined to improve the life chances of its students through the provision of an outstanding 21st century education. The ability to be proactive, leading from the front and with a proven track record of school improvement is essential, with a requirement that all of our leaders are outstanding classroom practitioners with the ability to support colleagues by modelling best practice.
The Academy is at an exciting phase on its journey to becoming a beacon of outstanding practice and it is anticipated that the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that this next phase of the Academy’s development is secured. As such, the exact role can be negotiated with the successful applicant, depending on their particular skill sets and experience.
The Hastings Academy is part of the Hastings Academies Trust, which currently consists of two secondary academies and seven primary schools all based within the surrounding area of Hastings.
The two secondary academies have a Federated Leadership Team consisting of an Executive Principal, Principals, Vice Principals and federated senior leaders. This is a fantastic opportunity for an outstanding leader to join the Federated Leadership Team in order to make a significant contribution to the strategic direction of the Trust’s secondary academies.
