Coaches required for Foundation & Junior level Boys & Girls (5v5 & 7v7) teams based out of Runcorn, Cheshire.

The junior section of Runcorn Linnets FC are an FA Community Club with 45 Boys & Girls Junior teams.

We have roles starting at the bottom of the Junior pyramid for September 2017 Foundation U7s / U8s / Junior U9s girls and U10s boys , we are looking to invite applications for voluntary coaching / management roles within our established junior section.

These are truly rewarding age groups to work with and we currently have a number of newly created foundation & junior development teams making ready for a September League start.

We are looking for coaches with across ALL levels of experience from beginners, intermediate to mature coaches.

As a coach you will be supported by our dedicated Football Development Team which is headed up by a Premier League Coach , your development as a coach will be within our Club Philosophy on how to develop players from Foundation level to Youth teams. Your voluntary coaching time will be rewarded with FA Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and you will be given full support both internally via our Football Development Team (Inc. FA Mentors) and financially by County FA CPD courses.

To apply candidates need to:
• Be enthusiastic about football coaching juniors
• Be a great communicator
• Have a want to learn and develop themselves as a football coach
• Be prepared to spend time gaining FA qualifications with financial backing from the club
• Have the ability to create and deliver structured, age appropriate football coaching session plans
• Be forward thinking, have a creative flair and a real want to work with and coach children at various age groups
• Have own transport and be able to attend midweek training and weekend (Saturday or Sundays mornings) match day games.

Previous experience of coaching children in football or any other sport would be ideal but not mandatory.

Our Community Club status requires all of our coaches to hold a minimum FA Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football (including first aid award and Safeguarding Children modules), new coaches must gain this basic FA qualification within 12 months of joining the club.

The club will assist you in obtaining this certification if you do not already have the qualification. The club provides all match and training equipment.

Since you will be working with children under the age of 18, you are required by law to complete an FA DBS check.
