Youth & Community Coach – Street League

Job Description
Street League work with young people, progressing them into employment, education and training by engaging them through football, fitness, dance fitness and rugby. We specialise in helping our participants (16-24 years’ olds from disadvantaged areas) progress from our unique sport/fitness and education programmes into sustainable employment, education and training.
We currently operate across the UK in 14 regions, including Greater London, the North East and North West of England, West Midlands, Yorkshire and extensively across Scotland.
We are recruiting a Youth & Community Football Coach in London. The Youth & Community Coach works in partnership with Progressions Coordinators in delivering and administering Street League’s core programmes in their specific local area. You will be required to deliver football sessions and to deliver a sports-related qualification on the Street League Academy. You will also be responsible for carrying out outreach for sessions and to recruit and sustain participants on the Academy to ensure delivery targets are met.
Minimum requirements are FA Level 2 or above (or similar), experience in coaching preferably with young people aged 16-24 and an understanding of the Street League client group.
