Learning and Development Advisor – Sports Coach UK

Job Description
1 Leading the Sports Coach UK digital learning offer.
2 Developing sector understanding in modern learning including the effective learning mechanisms for a range of groups.
3 Providing expert technical support to Sports Coach UK and to external partners on the development and application of blended learning solutions including the application of digital technologies.
4 Consolidating and translating expert knowledge on modern learning and development into different formats for different audiences.
5 Identifying and pulling together key knowledge bases, experts, and groups in modern learning related to coaching and coaching development.
6 Contributing to the design of Sports Coach UK learning and development programmes and resources to embed the principles of modern learning.
7 Maintaining a high level of awareness of sports coach UK programmes, products and services in order to respond to specific needs of individuals or groups.
8 Contributing to the development of sports coach UK policy and strategy through internal staff meetings and working groups.
9 Working with sports coach UK partners to ensure that equity in coaching is developed and delivered effectively.
10 Maintaining an awareness of team members and other sports coach UK staff.
11 Following and promoting the mission, values and policies of sports coach UK internally and externally.
12 Following, promoting and implementing sports coach UK’s policies for the equal treatment of all employees, applicants and customers.
13 Undertaking any other tasks appropriate to this level of responsibility.
