We have a hugely exciting opportunity for a dedicated, efficient writer/social media producer in our small, but fast-growing, content marketing agency working with blue chip clients from around the world.

Formative creates high quality, intelligent blog and social media content, including long & short-form text, audio, graphics, video, for large corporates.

We want a journalist/producer seeking the next step in their career who is willing to learn and grow with our company.

The role:

Managing a range of social media accounts for a broad cross section of business clients
Writing daily, accurate social media copy for posts on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and Instagram for high profile clients using often complex source material
Uploading text, data and image content using a range of available social media platforms and tools
Reviewing success of campaigns, managing aggregation of analytics and reporting back to the client on an ongoing basis

Skills required:

We need someone with a good degree, great writing skills and a track record in creating published content for a brand, news organisation, corporate, organisation or charity.
We need someone who is not afraid of technology, who’s interested and fully engaged in social media, and who is willing to keep learning to stay ahead
We need good writers with a great attention to detail and an understanding of how to develop corporate stories in an engaging way
We need team members who are willing to get involved with all aspects of our small, growing company, and are happy working in a fast-changing environment

Ideally this person would have:

Experience working in a newsroom environment or fast-paced environment
Understanding of digital content development, delivery and oversight
Experience working in a structured and methodical way, with the ability to cope with competing demands and effectively prioritize tasks
Knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in digital project delivery
