We’re on the hunt for a talented, creative and organised editorial assistant to join our busy magazine department, working across both our Global and Digital Brands teams, focusing on the Disney, Mattel, Sanrio, Mind Candy and Rovio portfolios.
Successful candidates will have a passion for children’s magazines, together with an understanding of kids’ interests and capabilities at different ages and stages. You’ll support the editors and the wider editorial teams in all aspects of the day-to-day running of a number of magazines, performing a mix of admin duties and writing. A varied and challenging position, the editorial assistant will be able to source exciting competitions, have a ruthless eye for spotting typos, assist the teams in magazine approval, and be overflowing with creative feature ideas.
You’ll need to be great at prioritising workloads and managing deadlines, as well as being an enthusiastic and collaborative team player. You’ll also need to be able to demonstrate the ability to write in the appropriate style and language, and you will have a keen eye for emerging trends and events within the children’s sector.
