BBC Radio 5 live and BBC Breakfast are looking for tenacious, committed and experienced journalists to join its Journalism Talent Pool.

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to receive training and support in broadcast journalism skills. On completion of the training successful candidates will be in a position to be offered ad hoc producer shifts at 5 live and Breakfast.

We are looking for journalists with previous newsroom experience. The right applicants will have a good contacts book and understand how it can be applied to network news output. They will demonstrate a passion for, and knowledge of our programmes, and be able to help reach new audiences through the insights gained from your own life experiences. Applicants will need to be available for training for various dates throughout October and November, have a base within two hours of MediaCityUK and have good availability that will enable them to work across the various shifts we have during the week.
