Mergermarket, a market leading global financial business intelligence specialist, is looking for a full-time journalist to cover mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in Norway.

The role involves interviewing senior executives and other sources on corporate growth strategies, with a focus on M&A and financing (both in private and public markets). The reporter will need impeccable writing skills and have the ability to produce a steady flow of copy under tight deadlines.

The predominant industries in focus will span from the traditional Oil & Gas, TMT, Aqcuaculture to Industrials, Software and Consumer Goods/Retail.

Aside from being able to comfortably report in English, we are looking for candidates who ideally speak Norwegian fluently. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a business reporter, be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience and arrive with a self-starter attitude & ambitions to become a leading investigative journalist.

The role will be filled in London, but could also be structured on a freelancer basis out of Norway.
