Our website and daily newsletters are read by restaurant owners, hoteliers and publicans eager to catch up on the latest news from the industry and gain business advice and inspiration to improve their businesses.

Due to a team re-structure we are now looking for a multimedia editor who can manage our award-winning multi-media content and push it to the next level. The role will also entail management of our social media platforms as well as some news writing and contribution to written features.

The successful candidate will have experience working online and have a passion for providing innovative content for a growing audience of highly-engaged users.  You’ll  be confident both in-front of and behind the camera and be able to produce and edit videos, compile photo galleries, create infographics and write news for the website while building contacts within the hospitality industry.

Experience working in B2B and knowledge of the issues affecting those working in the hospitality industry, is preferable but not essential.

Key skills needed:

Journalism qualification (Ideally NCTJ or BJTC trained).
Video production and editing (Use of Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere preferable) .
Experience of using social networks and managing and developing communities.
An understanding of SEO.
Confidence to build contacts within the industry.
Good organisation.
