Bullet News is a new digital platform for news from all top publishers in short bullet points. Bullet News is cross-device with iOS, Android and Amazon apps for mobile, tablet, desktop and now smartwatches. Currently the top news app on the Samsung Gear smartwatch, Bullet News is about to launch its mobile apps in the UK.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and experienced News Editor who is passionate about current affairs and the evolution of mobile and, even wearable, news.

The successful candidate will demonstrate impeccable news judgement, have a creative approach to mobile-first news and understand how news travels on social media. This role combines creating unique content, curating and editing existing content.

Requirements:

Newsroom experience (minimum 3 years)
Creative thinking as regards the future of mobile news
Proficiency with and a passion for all social media platforms
Understanding of the competitive landscape
A strong (ideally humorous) voice
Willingness to work a flexible schedule that might include nights and weekends

The successful applicant will join a small fast-growing team and will have the chance to influence the future of mobile news.
