World Business Media is a specialist publishing firm which is a market leader in the international re/insurance and risk industry.
We are looking for a journalist who is keen to take our online offering to the next level. We are already ahead of our peers with our online offering which includes video content as well as online articles and our online editions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all our twitter and Facebook activity. They will work to source and produce both video and written content and will work with the team to create projects that can marry out printed publications and online content.
The successful candidate will:
Deliver the content required accurately and on deadline
Research, write and edit online content, including video content
Liaise with our SEO partners to ensure we delivering our on line strategy
Key skills:
Excellent writing and communication skills
Attention to detail, accuracy, punctuation, spelling and grammar
A solid understanding of SEO, writing for the Web and the use of social media
Ability to work to on occasion tight deadlines, multi task and forward plan
Well organised, creative and flexible team player with a positive can do attitude.
Experience required:
Use of CMS including WordPress
Knowledge of social media
Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere CC and Photoshop
for basic video editing and online imagery
A genuine love of journalism and a desire to build a successful career in the profession.
This is a full time role based from out office in the city of London. There will be the opportunity for some foreign travel to industry conferences and events.
The Salary is competitive and will depend on experience.
