This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new B2B global title providing news content for architects and designers in print, online, social media and video. It’s an exciting role for a versatile business journalist with a nose for a good story who is passionate about architecture and design.

Key duties:

Researching, gathering and writing news for print, web and social media
Feature writing and interviewing
Photo research and editing, plus resizing, cropping and manipulating images in Photoshop
Proofing and subbing and cross referencing online content
Producing pages for print using InDesign
Acting as a point of contact for editorial enquiries and maintaining, managing and developing editorial contacts
Keeping abreast of trends in technology and developing skills in this area
Representing the company at industry events and meeting contacts at home and abroad

Experience / skills required:

Outstanding journalistic skills including interviewing, financial reporting, news writing and analysis
Tech knowledge and good social media skills
Fluency in InDesign, Photoshop and Mac OS
A good working knowledge of government, the law, business and current affairs
Knowledge of architecture, design and investment advantageous
Shorthand preferred
Video skills and expertise desirable
Languages to business level desirable
