An excellent opportunity has become available for an independent, self-initiated individual to facilitate the business operations of a small and energetic team of creatives. An appreciation of interior design would be an advantage, but is not essential. Please note that this is purely an administration role, not a stepping stone into interior design.
Duties will include:
general reception duties and office administration
act as a point of contact for all office related queries
dealing with correspondence, filing, photocopying, dealing with incoming and outgoing calls
diary management, updating schedules, coordinating meetings
assisting director with human resources, including arranging freelancers and interns as necessary
tracking and coordinating industry events, trade shows, membership applications and award nominations
booking dinners and lunches, hotels and travel
planning and coordinating studio events
maintaining the studio, including tidying up and checking/replenishing stocks
troubleshooting IT and managing facilities
sourcing and labelling samples
payroll processing, VAT return submission
any other ad-hoc duties
Person specification:
enthusiastic and proactive
reliable and highly organised
excellent telephone manner
proven administrative experience, three plus years
knowledge of HR and financial practice is definitely advantageous for this position
