This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and innovative specialist to join a forward looking Performing Arts Faculty. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual who wishes to actively contribute to a well-established yet expanding faculty. The department is flexible enough to accommodate a Drama specialist or a candidate offering both Drama and Dance.
Drama and Dance are currently offered at;
KS3 years 7, 8 and 9 – Drama and Dance one hour per week
KS4 BTEC Level 2 first award in Performing Arts Edexcel (Acting or Production or Dance) in years 10 and 11 and as a one year course at KS5 year 12
KS4 WJEC Drama GCSE years 10 and 11
KS5 EDEXCEL Drama and Theatre Studies Years 12 and 13
KS5 BTEC Level 3 in Performing Arts (Acting or Production)
There is also a vacancy within school for a Head of Year which may be of interest to any prospective candidate (but not an essential part of the post). This post carries a TLR2c (£6,322)
