Job Description
West Bromwich Albion FC Academy Medical Department is seeking a number of part-time staff to join our medical team to provide physiotherapy services during academy training sessions. Successful applicants will be required to partake in a flexible rota which aims to cover week day evening training sessions, match days on Sunday mornings, as well as tournaments (national and international).

Please note the vacancy is specific to qualified physiotherapists only.

    Requirements:
Chartered physiotherapist
HCPC and CSP registered
Up to date Emergency Sports First Aid Certificate
Evidence of CPD

    Desirable:
Previous experience working within a youth sporting environment
Safeguarding Children
FA CRB

    The key responsibilities are to:
Provide standard pitch-side first aid when required
Carryout on pitch/pitch side assessment and deliver treatment to injured players
Lead the prehabilitation class prior to the training session
Rehabilitation of players through the return to training injury matrix
Update all injuries, treatments and rehabilitations onto the online notes system
Report to Lead Academy Physiotherapist following each training session.

The successful candidate will be paid a standard rate of £12.50 per hour and a set fee for home and away matches. The majority of training sessions will be held at the indoor training centre on Halfords Lane, West Bromwich (opposite the Hawthorns Stadium). We will provide the successful candidate with training kit and medical supplies. There is opportunity for Continued Professional Development (CPD) which can be arranged with our full-time medical staff.
