The purpose of this role is to raise income from community settings, events, challenge events and local companies for the West of England MS Therapy Centre. You will also create, manage and develop fundraising volunteer initiatives linking them to our Centre wherever possible, raising funds and awareness of our work through multiple channels. If you feel you have the drive and passion to succeed in this role, we very much look forward to hearing from you.

To succeed, you will have previous experience of managing volunteers, combined with a comprehensive understanding of fundraising best practice, some knowledge of the legal aspects of fundraising. You will also be highly organised with the ability to self-motivate and manage your own workload effectively. This is a diverse and interesting role for a dynamic, creative, self-starter. Working effectively as a member of the fundraising team to assist in the implementation of the West of England MS Therapy Centre’s fundraising strategy, policy and direction, the role will include the following:

Developing and organising locally-based fundraising events, activities and collections, and seeking involvement in externally organised local events.
Generating income from local individuals, local community groups and local businesses.
Developing and working with volunteers
Developing local relationships with corporate organisations and community groups.
