Job Description
Cambridge Untied are looking to add to the Academy Medical department ahead of the 2016/17 season, working within our schoolboy program to cover predominantly weekend match day and training sessions. There are occasional midweek evening fixtures and a day time midweek training session.
Due to Football League requirements, successful candidates are required to have the FA Basic First Aid for Sport to cover training sessions and the FA Intermediate First Aid for Sport (IFAS) for match cover. This is an ideal opportunity for undergraduate applicants and graduate Physiotherapists / Sports Therapists to gain experience with a professional sporting environment.
Essential:
• Sporting first aid (preferably FA Basic First aid for Sport (BFAS) or FA Intermediate First aid for Sport (IFAS)
• Being able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Effective communication
• An enthusiastic, hardworking individual
• Proactive attitude
Desirable:
• Student or graduate Sports Therapist / Physiotherapist
• Experience of pitch-side medical provision
• Experience of working an Academy setting
• FA Safe Guarding Children Workshop
