WheelPower – British Wheelchair Sport, the national disability sports charity for wheelchair sport provides opportunities, facilities and equipment which enable disabled people to play sport and lead healthy active lives.

Through our work with Spinal Injury Centre’s we are committed to engaging newly disabled people in sport and physical activity and supporting the rehabilitation and recovery of recently paralysed people.

WheelPower already has Physical Activity Advisors in post at spinal injury centres in Wakefield, Salisbury and Stanmore and we are currently seeking to appoint 3 new Physical Activity Advisors to add to this team who will provide an advisory service on sport and physical activity and support the provision of such activity for patients at three Spinal Injury Centres in Sheffield, Southport and Stoke Mandeville.
