At the EIS we think of ourselves as the team behind the team and deliver a range of performance impacting sport science and sport medicine services to over 40 Olympic and Paralympic sports along with a select number of non-Olympic sports, including Premier League Football, Premiership Rugby Union, Rugby League and Cricket.

The services we provide aim to deliver performance improvements and are guided by the technical programme needs of Performance Directors, coaches and athletes. The mix of practitioners we select to work with a sport is based on delivering the precise blend of skills and expertise to meet these requirements and contribute to performance improvements.

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST
(working with GB Badminton)
Base: National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes
Salary: £27,304 – £34,515 p.a.
Hours: 37 hours per week

    Your role:

The delivery and development of the physiotherapy service for World Class Programme athletes in conjunction with National Governing Body (NGB) staff.

The delivery of the physiotherapy service from the National Badminton Centre and at training venues and camps around the country as required.

The delivery of physiotherapy services to GB Badminton and nominated Badminton England athletes at home and abroad.

    You should have:

A qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy.

Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Considerable experience in the provision of physiotherapy services to athletes and coaches which should include work with high performance
