Job Description

The Royal Ballet, one of the leading classical ballet companies in the world, is seeking to appoint a Chartered Physiotherapist on a permanent basis.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary Healthcare team, our small team of Physiotherapists provides outstanding treatment and care for the company of over ninety dancers. The remit of the Healthcare team includes dance health education, assessments, performance enhancement, injury prevention, injury management and rehabilitation, to provide a reliable, high quality service and support the performance needs of the dancers and the longevity of their careers. The Physiotherapist will maintain the highest standards of physiotherapy practice, using an evidence-based approach which is innovative and creative.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate these essential qualities:

A qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy with Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration, and membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP)

Significant professional practice in physiotherapy, ideally specialising in musculoskeletal/sport physiotherapy

A demonstrated record of working within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality physiotherapy services in an interdisciplinary manner

Proven rehabilitation competency in sport and/or dance with the ability to implement innovative ideas

The ability to manage priorities and support a busy workload

Commitment to maintaining own continuing professional development
